WHAT'S NEW FOR THE SOUTH ASIAN WOMAN
July 30, 2009
A Taste of Maharashtra’s Best Grapes

Had enough of King Fisher with your samosas and chicken tandoori? Why not try an Indian wine? The area around Nashik – dubbed the Napa of India – has a wine industry that has annually grown by 25%since 2003.  Indian wines, however, are new to the scene and can be difficult to find.

CitySaheli has found some places to go to when you feel like enjoying a pleasant dinner, at home or at a restaurant, over a nice bottle from India’s highest hilltops. The whites will complete your bhindi masala or saag paneer, while the reds will compliment your tandoori meats and breads.
