This week, on the Independent Film Channel (IFC), starts the 3-part mini series Bollywood Hero, starring Saturday Night Live alumni Chris Kattan. Bollywood Hero is a kooky, comedic tale about a frustrated American actor trying to make it as a leading man in Hollywood. When Hollywood refuses to acknowledge his talent, he moves to India in hopes of achieving his dream. As his journey begins, Chris immediately gets a first hand taste of temperamental Bollywood starlets, language barriers and complex dance moves, as he attempts to become a leading man in Bollywood.
Bollywood Hero is scheduled to air on August 6, 7 and 8, two hours per day starting at 10/9c. If you don’t have time to watch it real time, be sure to set your DVRs.
