The NetIP (Network for Indian Professionals) New York Chapter serves to help South Asian professionals in the following areas: Professional Development, Community Service, Cultural Awareness and Political Awareness. NetIP has over 20 chapters across North America and has become a leading organization for South Asian professionals.
NetIP releases a free weekly newsletter describing upcoming events. Free membership also allows access to search for members on NetIP and use of its career center. Paid membership, however, gives access to discounted prices for events, members-only events and discounts with the many partners associated with NetIP.
Events in the NY area have included a Holi celebration, volunteering at soup kitchens, an NGO fair targeted towards India, a trip to Long Island vineyards, and the annual Black and White Charity Cruise.
