Support Children’s Hope India – This Wednesday

Looking for a great way to get more involved in your community?  CitySaheli loves giving back and loves Children’s Hope India, Inc.

What is Children’s Hope?  This organization was started in 1992 by a group of professional South Asian women in New York.  Their mission – Giving impoverished children in India a chance for a brighter future. Their motto – “Every Child Counts.”  The organization works to provide clean water, regular medical care, a secure food supply, and access to education.  The group has raised more than $1 million since it began – fantastic!

Children’s Hope even includes a second generation of members, consisting of young professional South Asians working toward the same goals as their predecessors.  They work under the name Children’s Hope Two (or CH2). CH2 holds many “Get to Know Us” events where they educate members and non-members on the group’s accomplishments and on how to contribute.

Want to get involved?  Volunteer your time or attend a Children’s Hope event.  Children’s Hope India and CH2 host events all over  New York  to raise funds for this cause.  Members also volunteer their time to help impoverished children in their local community.

Don’t miss the next CH2 “Get to Know Us” Event:
